The client’s Executive team and the Information Manager had conflicting points of view of what the Information Manager’s position entailed. gradeAtechs.com was hired to assess the situation and prepare a report with recommendations.
The Network was in disarray and the information systems purchased by the organization was very poorly implemented. The organization had an existing IT company that was failing to manage their network. The Information Manager was constantly stepping in thus not accomplishing the Information Manager’s role to its specification. |

gradeAtechs.com initially performed a site discovery covering all documentation pertaining to the position and interviewed key staff. The findings where that the job description was accurately describing the functions required by the organization which was an administrative position and not a technical one. The recommendations where to replace the IT management company and reposition the Information Manager back to the role as stated in the job description. |
